Canada Post is a Canadian postal service that was established in 1867. It has been a Crown corporation from 1969 until 2000.
In 1995, Canada Post had over 3 million employees and delivered about 11 billion pieces of mail annually. In 2013, Canada Post delivered approximately 15 billion pieces of mail and employed about 50,000 employees.
