Canna Clinic’s storefronts were targeted and raided by police on Thursday, June 22. All the company’s storefront within the GTA were raided with 6 people being arrested by Toronto police. This is nothing new for these Canna Clinic locations, which have been the site of police warrants in the past.
This is another example of Toronto law enforcement’s commitment to enforce antiquated laws until the very last moment. The spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service, Mark Pugash, said, ‘We’ve been absolutely clear that as long as the law says selling cannabis without federal government authority remains a crime, we will continue to enforce the law.”
