Read on for our review of the strains from this dispensary:
Silver Haze (80 Sativa/20 Indica)
Silver Haze is a combination of Haze and Northern Lights. It was first reproduced by the prestigious Sensi Seeds from Amsterdam and it’s rapidly turned into a favoured treasure in the United States and Canada.
This sativa dominant hybrid had gorgeous, bulbous, medium and small buds that shimmered with frosty white crystal trichomes. Moreover, the nugs were an amalgamation of bright lime, sage and hunter greens; with vibrant amber pistils, frozen, in a field of a juxtaposition of vivid colour.
Silver Haze
When combusted, Silver haze produced huge clouds of rich and voluminous smoke that drifted around the room slowly and filled the room with a delightfully aromatic fragrance. The smoke’s fragrance began with a strong earthiness that quickly changed into an even stronger pungent aroma that made it very clear what was going on in my room. This strain is not the strain to use if you have disapproving roommates.
When vaped with Arizer V-Tower, Silver Haze from Xpress Grass produced a surprisingly lovely citrus and earthy fragrance; wafting through the air for a short time, before dissipating quickly. The vapour was thick, rich and flavourful; with hints of a spicy pine; as well as, an earthy undertone that resonated with me as an aftertaste.
Xpress Grass’ Silver Haze was extremely potent and hit quickly with feelings of happiness and relaxation with a couple fits of the giggles in between. Moreover, I was energized and focused, devouring my chores and work with efficiently and elation. The high was long lasting and so enjoyable, that I smoked it for long periods during the day. The downside was extreme dry mouth; have water or another healthy beverage on standby!
Moreover, this daytime strain would be helpful in treating a number of symptoms and conditions, such as (but not limited to), ADHD, PTSD, fibromyalgia, moderate pain, fatigue, nausea, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, depression, chronic stress, anxiety and/or other mood disorders (as directed).
Tuna Rockstar (70 Indica/30 Sativa)
Xpress Grass’ Tuna Rockstar had distinguished lineage, with the legendary Tuna Kush and Rockstar, as the prestigious and potent parent strains. Don’t let the small buds from this indica dominant hybrid fool you; these favoured and potent buds will knock your socks off!
Tuna Rockstar
Furthermore, Tuna Rockstar had round, small buds that were covered in frosty, white crystal trichomes. The nuggets were a mixture of olive, sage and hunter greens; with a light, barely noticable, purple undertone beneath the green leaves. There was also fiery, amber pistils spouting throughout the dense bud.
Moreover, Tuna Rockstar had an immensely potent aroma, making my nostrils burn with the sickenly sweet, skunk fragrance. The aroma also contained a hint of diesel and a soothing earthy smell, that slightly improved the strong, stinky bud by slightly dulling the other fragrances.
When combusted, this robust, indica dominant hybrid produced large clouds of potently fragranced skunky clouds, that drifted through the room leisurely. This is not the strain to smoke when discretion is needed. The smoke was relatively smooth; there was a little bit of a burn and a tickle in my throat on exhale. The smoke also tasted slightly sweet, with hints of diesel, spice and an earthiness that dulled the burn from the spice
When vaped with the Arizer V-Tower, Tuna Rockstar produced moderate clouds that were rich, full bodied and silky smooth. I braced myself for the potent, verging on almost, offensive smell, that I had experienced during combustion; however, it never occurred. The sweetness and earthiness remained; however, the sweetness became dulled during vaporization, making that aspect of the fragrance much more pleasant.
Moreover, the skunk and diesel aromas that were so prominent while smoking it simply were not there. Instead, there was a sweet, earthy and piney spiciness, and my nostrils approved! You can also vape this strain to your heart’s content, as the vapour dissipates quickly and is never overpowering in regards to aromas.
Tuna Rockstar by Xpress Grass quickly produced a deep sense of relaxation and calm, that set the tone for the rest of my high. There was also an uplifting euphoria; as well as, a deep body stone and extreme sleepiness. This is not a very sociable strain, despite its name; in fact, it had me to sleep the first time I smoked it quite quickly!
Furthermore, this strain can be used to help treat a variety of symptoms and conditions, such as (but not limited to): chronic pain, glaucoma, fibromyalgia, insomnia, nausea, migraines, multiple sclerosis, appetite loss, inflammatory diseases, parkinson’s disease, depression, anxiety and/or other mood disorders (as directed).
Blueberry Nuken (80 Indica/20 Sativa)
As I took Blueberry Nuken out of Xpress Grass’ cute, tiny ziplock, I was struck by the amount of beautiful, tiny and white, crystalline trichomes, that shimmered and coated almost every visible surface of the small buds.
Blueberry Nuken
Furthermore, SimplyBudz was a combination of sage, forest, and laurel greens, with a generous amount of bright goldenrod pistils and a subtle purple undertone behind the greens. In addition, Blueberry Nuken had an earthy, sweet, musky and piney aroma, after the nugget was ground up.
When combusted, this indica dominant hybrid produced massive clouds of thick smoke, that quickly filled my room and made it seem like I was attempting to hotbox the place. The smoke was fragrant; filling the air with a sweet and earthy spiciness that was quite pleasant. Moreover, the flavour profile was rustic and simplistic; consisting of a commanding earthiness wrapped around spice; nearly strangling and muting the spice.
When vaped with the Arizer V-Tower, Xpress Grass’ Blueberry Nuken’s flavour and aroma transformed and evolved into a lighter and airier spice and a vibrant berry flavour. The earthiness was much less prominent; thankfully, which allowed me to fully enjoy the delicate and vibrant berry taste.
Moreover, the fragrance from the vaped bud was comforting, delightful and soothing; giving the strain more versatility and mobility by smelling pleasantly (and more importantly; discreetly) and by allowing the user to go out in public. Blueberry Nuken also filled my senses with massive vapour clouds that fragranced my personal space with the amazing scent of freshly made blueberry pie. There was also a hint of spice, but it dissipated far too quickly and much to my disappointment.
Xpress Grass’ Blueberry Nuken quickly produced feelings of happiness and euphoria; followed by a deep, full-body melt, total relaxation that destroyed every ache and soothed tired and spasming muscles. For me, couch-lock then set in; after that, I was pretty much done. I watched the TV like a zombie and crawled into bed.
Furthermore, this potent indica dominant hybrid can be useful in helping to treat a number of symptoms and conditions, such as (but not limited to): insomnia, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, parkinson’s, stress, PTSD, multiple sclerosis, muscle spasms, glaucoma, depression, anxiety and/or other mood disorders (as directed).
OG Cali Kush (50 Indica/ 50 Sativa)
As I opened the miniature ziplock containing the tiny, dense and compressed nugs from Xpress Grass, I was impressed with the large number of shimmering, white, crystal trichomes that were spread throughout the bud.
OG Cali Kush
Moreover, OG Cali Kush from Xpress Grass was sage, laurel and a vivid and vibrant lime green; with fiery orange pistils and quite a few violet pistils sprouting and then frozen in time. The bud had a herbaceous earthy fragrance, that reminded me of hay cut in the summer. One downside I will say about this but is that it was extremely dry and appeared to be old stock.
When combusted, OG Cali Kush had a delightful citrus aroma that exploded through the air as soon as I had the bong lit. The aroma was light, airy, refreshing and quite the room aromatic with the citrus potpourri. Furthermore, the smoke was medium bodied, rich and full-flavoured; tasting of a leathery, earthy woodiness that was quite pleasant.
When vaped with the Arizer V-Tower, the vapour was much more potent. At least in burning the back of my throat on inhale unexpectedly from the domineering spice that forced its way to the forefront.
After a few inhales my lungs (and body) adjusted to the pervasive spice. Beneath the spice, there was a silky, earthy woodiness, that brought me back to camping and more specifically, campfires. For me, the smell is incredibly soothing and relaxing, so the taste of the bud can help set up the stress-free environment.
Xpress Grass’ OG Cali Kush was an excellent plant medication and produced many exquisite sensations, such as relaxation, a sense of calm and happiness, euphoria, a few fits of giggles; without being overly sedated.
Furthermore, this beautifully balanced hybrid can be used to help treat a number of symptoms and conditions, such as (but not limited to): appetite loss, glaucoma, eating disorders, fibromyalgia, insomnia, moderate pain, inflammatory conditions, depression, anxiety and/or other mood disorders (as directed).
