Many Canadians have been wondering if the Canadian government can tell if a marijuana package is purchased from a non-sanctioned online cannabis retailer; AKA, the Canadian Mail Order Marijuana online retailers that are running unsanctioned by the government.
The absolute answer to this question is NO. The Canadian Association for Police Chiefs said in 2016, “The Canada Post Corporation Act prevents them from obtaining warrants to seize mail, except in rare cases where there’s a national security risk.”. What that means is that until the Canadian Government passes a law to amend this, there is minimal risk in buying from unsanctioned online cannabis retailers.
Furthermore, at least at the Ontario Cannabis Store, the mail will come in plain packaging. This means there is absolutely no way for a postal worker or the police for that matter; to open, search or seize your mail.
Until the Government of Canada is able to sustain and maintain their cannabis supply; we recommend you search around for the best price for your marijuana needs. We carry an up-to-date coupon page; so you can find the best deals. Furthermore, if you are looking for bulk deals; Cheapweed’s has got you covered!
Another side note: We are still waiting on our order from the OCS dated October 18, 2018. There has been no communication except for the two notices everyone seems to have gotten, but nothing else. Moreover, we have not been able to call in and been left on hold for over 3 hours, before being hung up on.
Have any horror stories from the OCS or any other provincial retailers? If so, please leave a detailed comment below!
